Green Carpet

We gathered around in Güvenpark at 12 am and took the bus together to the Eymir Lake where the event was going to take place. When we arrived participants got their needs from the supermarket. Everyone wore their gloves and started collecting trash from lakeside and woods. Trashes were mostly cigarettes, water bottles, alcoholic drink bottles, plastic bags. During the event people around the lake were curious of what we were doing. Some of them congratulated and asked some questions to the participants. We had a few breaks. At the end we collected 18 kg of trash. After cleaning up we found a cozy spot by the lake and had our picnic. After the picnic we wanted to ride bicycles but rain started and we decided to finish the event.
