As ESN Ankara University, we organized a cultural trip for our Erasmus students to explore some of the historical and cultural gems of Ankara. The trip included visits to Hamamönü, a beautifully restored historical neighborhood known for its traditional Ottoman architecture and cozy cafes, where students had the chance to experience the local atmosphere.
Next, we visited the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, which offers a rich collection of artifacts from the ancient civilizations that have inhabited the Anatolian region throughout history. Our Erasmus students were fascinated by the museum's unique exhibits, which span thousands of years, from prehistoric times to the Roman era.
Finally, we made our way to the Ankara Castle, a historic fortress offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Here, students explored the ancient walls and towers while learning about the history of the castle, which has been a significant landmark in Ankara for centuries.
This trip provided an excellent opportunity for our Erasmus students to immerse themselves in the rich history and culture of Ankara while making memories with their fellow students.
