Out of the Stereotypes

Everyone gathered around for the event at the restaurant we booked
earlier. To break the ice, everyone told the stereotypes, prejudices about
their countries one by one. The ones who had discrimination shared their
experiences. Participants discussed about what they would have done if
they were in the places of people who had bad experiences because of
this prejudices. Next, participants divided into groups to play a theatre
about the stereotypes of the countries they were given. After conducting
the theatre plays, participants discussed the stereotypes they played in
the theatre. They asked and answered questions such as “Why people
think that way/Why this is offensive”.
